MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell spoke at the recent National Religious Broadcasters Media Convention in California where he told attendees how radio has been instrumental to his success.
Lindell said that in 2011 he received a call from WABC in New York City. He traveled to New York and met Don Imus. Imus wasn’t initially interested in promoting MyPillow, but after receiving a sample he changed his mind and Lindell made several more appearances on Imus’ program.
And after selling a MyPillow to 44 million customers, Lindell says radio is the number one platform to promote his product. “If you don’t believe Mike Lindell on an informercial, you trust the radio host.”
